This CD-ROM presents a complete beginners' course for HTML.Going through the course, you will produce a complete HTML page, containing the most important properties of HTML, e.g. images, tables, lists and links to other websites.
Most of the chapters of the compendium - part of the course - are walked through during the development of the page. This compendium shows up the most important HTML commands (tags) and the related parameters. It allows immediate, interactive possibilities, to test the parameters, before using them finally in the HTML page itself. .
The participant is expected to be able to use his/her operating system (Windows, MAC-OS, Linux etc. etc.), to manipulate files and folders, as well as use a texteditor of his/her choice. "SAVE", "COPY" and similar terms should be understood.
As the texteditors, that are delivered with a WINDOWS system (notepad, wordpad, edit) are not very comfortable, creating larger, structured textfiles (HTML is nothing but that), you find some install images of freeware and shareware editors on the CD-ROM, as a selection. (This with kind permission of the authors and right's owners). Concerning that - the following note : Shareware is not for free, and, for continued usage is expected to be registered and purchased.
